Students will develop sound recording and mixing skills, an understanding of the music business, music production techniques and a solid grounding in all aspects of working with commercial music in a recording studio, broadcast facility or any other commercial sound facility. You will learn both the technical and creative side of the recording process and how to work with others in the studio environment while completing complex recording projects. Theoretical lectures are complemented by practical studio demonstrations. During this program you will book our recording studios and audio workstations for your own practical sessions - hands-on studio time is the only way to learn. Upon completion of this program you will be able to enter the music business with a developed set of audio engineering skills. Main Course Topics:

Student who have successfully complete the Diploma of Music Industy have the opportunity to continue their studies into our Bachelor of Digital Media (Audio Production) course. Students may be granted upto 12 units (or 1 years) worth or credit. Click here for more information.
Graduates that successfully complete the Bachelor of Digital Media have the option to continue their studies into BA Honors and Master of Arts qualifications with our partner: the SAE International Graduate College (IGC). These courses are not offered or delivered by Australian based SAE Institutes and can not be studied face-to-face in Australia. These courses are available to residents of Australia through distance learning only.
